   Letter To Beino People... Minimize

First, we would like to thank all the people that have registered to Beino.net and provided us with their feedbacks. One of the interesting feedback we received was that Beino site is as boring as the village itself. We think there is lot of truth in this statement, and we believe that it could be much more rich and exciting with news, stories, old photos and biography.

Once we decided to take this project on, we knew that it is going to be a challenging project. Shortly after we came up with prototype, we noticed that lot of people are viewing the site, but they do not want take the time to register. We asked people to contribute with stories and photos, and we received very little.

It is disappointing to say, the site is boring, but every Beinawy need to ask himself a question about his contributions to make this site a better one. The management team members are all living abroad and it is difficult to capture village news and stories to keep the site up to date. We asked for help from volunteers that are living in Lebanon, but no one showed any interest.

More disappointing that people that we know well, and we thought that they will take ownership in this project, did not even bother to register.

Forgive us if we are too emotional, but if you are from Beino and if you care about your village it is time to do something about it. Things ARE NOT just going to happen without putting efforts into it.

We urge you to take some responsibility and ownership in this site. We as a management team are investing time and money to offer Beino a site that can not be less perfect.

Finally, We would like to tell our dear friend that compared the boring site to the boring village that obviously there is nothing wrong if the site is a true reflection of the village condition; however, We trust that we all are going to work together to make Beino and its site a more exciting place.

Beino… The beauty of home.
